This was the second goose of the day and as such must have been in a huge disadvantage, but quite contrary to all common sense it was by far the better one. The animal presented itself in the form of a rather small leg and five carefully cut pieces of the breast. The eating was thus very easy and satisfying. With the crispy skin over some tender meat the goose was nothing to complain about (and actually quite a lot to praise), while the dumpling and the cabbage were absolutely satisfactory.
Even the goose soup looked as if it contained the better parts of the bird rather than the bits not eaten by the previous customers. All in all, a very positive experience.
