To their credit, Jagakölla owners don’t call their dish Brettljause (it comes on a plate, after all). This is the only credit I can give them, however, because the rest was a joke. Two types of sausage (Wiener-alike and a sort of Kümmelbraten) and two types of cheese (both tasteless), 5-6 slices of each and fresh from a plastic packaging. Decoration is provided by means of a couple of slices of egg, tomato, paprika and fresh cucumber.
The interior of the restaurant has a hunting scheme, with the heads and skulls of dead animals looking at you from every wall. A stuffed hare dressed as a hunter holding a toy rifle in its paws was a monument to tastelessness.
Perhaps while sitting outside and on a nice day Jagakölla may offer something (the wine was quite good, incidentally), but anyone looking for a Brettljause should take a 5-minute walk and get to the Jupp’s Bierstüberl instead.
